The Supreme Court Tuesday declined to hear a case from Indiana Schools that were trying to ban transgender students from using the bathroom that fits their gender identity. That leaves a lower court ruling in place that allows a trans boy to use the boy’s restroom in a victory for trans rights.
RuPaul scored yet another win in the Best Reality Show Category for RuPaul’s Drag Race at Monday night’s Emmys. As seen in the clip below, Ru used his speech to defend drag queens around the world. Ru now has the most Emmy wins of any host and the most Emmys of any person of color.
Elton John also won big at this year’s Emmy Awards, taking home his first Emmy for his Disney+ special “Elton John: Farewell from Dodger Stadium”. The win makes Elton the 19th EGOT in history… an EGOT is a performer who’s won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award.
