A Federal Judge has granted a preliminary injunction in the case against Florida’s anti-drag law brought by Hamburger Mary’s. The state is now barred from enforcing the law. Florida’s motion to dismiss was also denied with the judge calling the state’s actions an attempt to “suppress the speech of drag queen performers.”

The University of Wyoming chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit challenging their acceptance of a trans woman to their membership saying their sorority rules allow transgender women to belong. Seven members of the sorority brought the lawsuit in March and six refiled the lawsuit in May after trying twice to file anonymously, something the judge refused to allow.

And actor Luke Macfarlane and his partner, World Cup skier Hig Roberts, have announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram. The new dads got to bring home Tess Eleanor Macfarlane on Father’s Day.
