LGBTQ non-profit organization, Queer Capita, rejoiced in Pride month in Brooklyn with their annual Queer & Now event on Tuesday night (June 20) and the celebration featured some of the biggest rising LGBTQ acts.

The Brooklyn affair, which was held at Elsewhere’s rooftop, featured performances from Dorian Electra, Madison Rose, The Dragon Sisters and Rodney Chrome. On the hosting front, drag star Essa Noche helped keep the crowd entertained between acts. While brands like Amazon, Glossier, Aperol, and Virgin Music Group served as sponsors, the overarching theme of pride was spread throughout the night and evident amongst the crowd.

Part of the celebration’s initiative guided attention to their Future of The Music Industry fundraiser, which saw 20 percent of all donations during the event go to the Ali Forney Center. The non-profit is committed to saving the lives of LGBTQ+ young people and assists 2,000+ youths per year with their agenda. Click here for more on how you can make your own donation to the cause.
