A Federal Judge ruled late Friday night that the recently-enacted Tennessee state law banning drag performances is unconstitutional. The Tennessee law was the first of several bills of it’s kind that were introduced in several states this year under the guise of “protecting minors” from “adult oriented entertainment”. The judge said the law was too vague and violated free speech protections.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill into law on Friday that forbids transgender minors from receiving gender-affirming care including puberty blockers and hormone therapy. That makes Texas state number 18 to restrict trans care for minors.

At a presentation on Wednesday, West Hollywood Pride presented the key to the city to the LA Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The presentation takes place less than a couple weeks after the Sisters were re-invited to participate in the LA Dodgers Pride Night after originally uninviting them due to pressure from religious groups.
